# How do I report a problem after hours?

Call 775-575-9593 or 775-391-5660 and leave a message, or email info@hdiss.net with the details. The office answers from 9 to 5 every day, and no after-hours response time is published.

A problem that starts at 9 pm is no less annoying. Here is how to put a report in so it is ready for the morning, and what the company has and has not said.

## What can you do in the evening?

Run the quick checks first. They take a few minutes and fix a lot: see [no internet: five checks](https://hdiss.net/support/no-internet-five-checks/). If the problem remains, write to info@hdiss.net or phone one of the numbers. The company does not publish how a night call is handled, so do not count on being answered.

The network is watched around the clock, and the page on [24/7 support](https://hdiss.net/faq/weather-and-reliability/do-you-have-24-7-support/) explains what is handled at any hour and what waits for office hours.

## What should the report say?

Give your name, service address and phone number. Say when it started, whether one device or all are affected, what the injector lights show and what you have tried. Mention a storm, a power cut or roof work. Add whether a neighbor on the same service is also down. A report like that can be acted on at 9 am without a long call.

If you see nothing at all, check whether the power is out at your house first. The equipment needs power. The [outage page](https://hdiss.net/support/outage/) says how to report one.

## What if it cannot wait?

If you depend on the line for safety, such as a medical alert or an alarm, keep a second way to call, such as a mobile phone. Do not climb to the antenna. Section 12 bills a visit that finds no fault at time and material rates, which is a reason to run the checks before you call.

In the morning, call again if no one has replied. A person answers from 9 to 5, seven days a week. You can reach the office at [contact support](https://hdiss.net/support/contact-support/) as well.
