"Runs" lines use the FCC Household Broadband Guide and Broadband Speed Guide (fcc.gov), which the FCC calls rough guidelines; every High Desert plan is above the FCC's highest household band of more than 25 Mbps. You send your address, a person checks the path to a tower, and then you choose. ## What is the Bronze plan? Bronze is the lowest-priced plan at $50 a month, with downloads up to 500 Mbps and uploads up to 200 Mbps. It suits a small household that streams, browses and video calls. Gold is $99 a month, with downloads up to 1 Gig and uploads up to 200 Mbps. It is the plan for large households and heavy downloads. The company says to ask whether it is in your area. Each service level has a data transfer limit under the [service agreement](https://hdiss.net/service-agreement/). The size is available by emailing info@hdiss.net, and use over it is $1 per gigabyte in a billing cycle.
