How installation works
A technician surveys your home and property, mounts a small antenna where it can see a tower, runs a cable to a power injector inside and connects your router. Payment is due on install day, as the service agreement describes.

This page sticks to what the service agreement and the company's own pages support. The company does not publish an install price or a time frame, so neither appears here. Ask when we call back, and ask again on the day if anything is unclear.
What happens before anyone comes out?
It starts with your address. A person looks at your home compared with our towers and the ground between, then calls you back. The desk look can end three ways: clear, not clear, or needs a closer look. You can read about each on the address check page. Nothing is installed until a person has spoken to you and you agree.
What does the technician do on the day?
First, a survey of the house and the land. The point is to find where an antenna can see a tower. That is often the roofline or a gable end, and sometimes a short mast on the side of the building. The service agreement asks you to give reasonable access to the premises and a workable space, and to make the area free of hazards before work starts. Then the technician mounts the antenna and radio, runs a cable inside to a power injector, and connects it to your router. Krista G. wrote of the staff, “They really care.”
Where does the equipment go?
The antenna and radio go outside, aimed at the tower. The power injector plugs in indoors and powers the radio through the cable. The router sits where it can serve the house; the guide on where to put your router helps. Whether the router is supplied or yours depends on the install, so ask. See the equipment page for who owns what.
What do I pay on install day?
The agreement says payment is due on the date of installation: a labor charge plus a prorated monthly charge from the install date to your next billing date. The first invoice also includes any materials purchased. We do not publish the labor amount; ask when we call. Then the plan price repeats each month. Bronze is $50 a month, Silver is $75 a month and Gold is $99 a month. See what you pay on day one.
When does the agreement start?
The service agreement is in full effect on completion of the installation. After it, ending service takes two weeks notice and the equipment returned. The agreement also says that after service ends, the customer is responsible for any alterations to the structure made for providing it, so ask the technician what will be drilled or mounted before work begins.
What happens after the technician leaves?
Test the connection with a laptop on a cable, then on your Wi-Fi, in a couple of rooms. The speed test page shows how to read the result against the up to figure on your plan. Keep the first invoice, which shows the labor charge and prorated month in writing, and read your first week with a new connection for what to watch. If something looks wrong, call; do not wait.
How should I get ready?
Plan on an adult being home, clear access to the spot where the cable will enter, and a place for the injector and router near a power outlet. If you rent or live under an HOA, ask first; read landlords, HOAs and the OTARD rule. The get ready for your install and installation day guides have a fuller list.
What if the technician cannot find a spot?
Then we say so. It happens when a hill or trees block every position on the property. We would rather tell you than leave an antenna aimed at nothing, and we would rather you hear it on site than find out after a week of poor results. We may suggest another position, a mast, or a different kind of internet, and the comparison pages set out the choices.
Whom do I call?
Call 775-575-9593 or 775-391-5660, 9 to 5 every day, or send your address with the form. Never climb to the antenna yourself; call and a technician comes.
