Terms of Use

Effective: October 15, 2026

These Terms of Use (the "Terms") are a legal agreement between you and High Desert Internet Services ("High Desert Internet," "HDISS," "we," "us" or "our"). They govern your access to and use of hdiss.net (the "Site") and the tools and communications offered through it. Please read them carefully. They include a disclaimer of warranties, a limitation of our liability, an indemnity from you, a choice of Nevada law and a requirement that disputes be heard in the state and federal courts in Washoe County, Nevada; there is no arbitration clause. By using the Site, sending a Request or an address check or chatting with Relay, our website chat assistant, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site. You can always call us at 775-575-9593, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, seven days a week.

1. Agreement to these Terms

Binding agreement. By accessing or using the Site in any way, including browsing its pages, sending a form, using the call-back panel or chatting with the Chat Assistant, you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. If you use the Site on behalf of a business, a landlord or a homeowners association, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms on its behalf, and "you" includes that business.

The Service is separate. These Terms govern the Site. The internet access, hosting, email and domain services we provide to customers are governed by the HDISS Service Agreement, the invoice and the other terms we give you for that service, and by Nevada law, not by these Terms.

2. Definitions

In these Terms, the following words have the meanings below:

  • "Site" means hdiss.net, including the plain-text versions of its pages, its llms.txt summary files, and any tools, forms, panels and chat features offered on those pages.
  • "Content" means all text, guides, frequently asked questions, descriptions of internet, hosting, email and domain services, data, photographs, graphics, logos, designs, code and other material on the Site, and the selection and arrangement of that material.
  • "Services" means the fixed wireless internet access, web hosting, customer email and domain registration services we provide to customers, and any installation, site survey, maintenance or support work we perform at a property, each governed by the Service Agreement and the terms we give you for that service.
  • "Request" means a message you send us through a form on the Site, the call-back panel, the Chat Assistant, or an email through which you ask us a question, ask for an Address Check or ask us to contact you.
  • "Submission" means any information, message, photograph, video or other material you send us through the Site, by email.
  • "Chat Assistant" means Relay, our website chat assistant, which is YelloPost AI, an automated program on the Site built and operated for us by YelloPost.
  • "YelloPost" means our website and marketing provider, which builds and manages the Site.
  • "High Desert Parties" means High Desert Internet Services and its owners, managers, employees, agents, successors and assigns, and its service providers, including YelloPost.
  • "Address Check" means a request, sent through a form on the Site, the Chat Assistant or by telephone, that we look at whether our wireless service can reach a particular address. It is a request for a person to look, not an order and not an answer.
  • "Service Agreement" means the HDISS Service Agreement (currently version 1.12), published on the Site at /service-agreement/, which governs the internet access service we provide to customers once installation is complete.

3. About us

Operator. The Site is operated by High Desert Internet Services (HDISS), a locally owned fixed wireless internet provider based in Northern Nevada and open since 2002. We provide internet access to homes and small businesses by microwave radio from our towers to an antenna on the customer's building, and we offer web hosting, customer email and webmail, and domain registration. Our mailing address is High Desert Internet Services, Billing Dept., PO Box 11353, Reno, Nevada 89510. We are a service-area business: our technicians come to you, and the Site does not describe a walk-in location. You can reach us by telephone at 775-575-9593 or 775-391-5660, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM seven days a week, or by email at info@hdiss.net.

The way to reach us is by telephone at 775-575-9593 or 775-391-5660, by email at info@hdiss.net, or through the forms and chat on the Site. Billing questions must be in writing to billing@hdiss.net. Details are on our contact page.

4. Service area

We work in rural and edge-of-town Northern Nevada: Washoe, Lyon, Storey, Churchill and Douglas counties and Carson City. The town, county and ZIP code pages on the Site describe places we work in and carry public data about them. They are general information. Fixed wireless service needs a clear path from one of our towers to the roof of the building, so whether we can serve a particular address depends on that path, our capacity at the time and the equipment available, and we confirm it only after a person has looked at the address and, where needed, a technician has confirmed the path at the property. Nothing on the Site, in an email or from the Chat Assistant is a statement that service is available at any address.

5. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to send a Request or an Address Check. The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

6. The Site is for general information only

General information. The Content, including descriptions of the plans and services, explanations of how fixed wireless, line of sight, Wi-Fi, latency and other technology work, the Census and FCC figures on the town, ZIP code and data pages, the comparisons of other providers' published facts, guides, help-center articles and answers from the Chat Assistant, is general information only. It is not a statement that service is available at your address, not professional advice about your specific situation, and not a substitute for talking with us.

Every address is different. Whether our service can reach a property, which plan suits it and what you will see in practice are confirmed only after a person has looked at the address and, where needed, a technician has confirmed the path at the property. Published speeds are "up to" figures.

Third-party facts. Figures about other providers are taken from those providers' own websites on the date stated on the page, and figures about places are taken from the U.S. Census Bureau, the FCC and the other public sources each page names. They can change after we read them, and we do not control them. Check a provider's current terms with that provider, and check any address on the FCC National Broadband Map.

No warranty for the Content. We try to keep the Content accurate and current, but we do not promise that it is complete, error-free or up to date, and we may change it at any time. Section 22 explains the disclaimer of warranties that applies to the Site.

7. Address checks, plans and the Service Agreement

Address checks. An Address Check asks a person at High Desert to look at the path from our nearest tower to the address you give us. We may ask a technician to confirm the path at the property. An Address Check never produces an automatic answer, and sending one does not obligate you to take service or obligate us to provide it.

Plans and prices. The plan prices and speeds shown on the Site are the prices and "up to" speeds we publish. Every speed is a maximum the plan is designed for, not a promise of the speed you will see at any moment, which depends on the path from the tower, the equipment, the number of people online and your own Wi-Fi. Each service level has a data transfer limit, as the Service Agreement describes.

The Service Agreement governs. Internet access service is provided only under the Service Agreement, which takes full effect on completion of installation. If there is a conflict between the Site and the Service Agreement for a customer's service, the Service Agreement controls. Nothing on the Site, in an email or from the Chat Assistant changes the Service Agreement.

The Site does not form a service contract. Sending an Address Check, chatting with the Chat Assistant or reading the Content does not create a contract for service. There is no online sign-up and no online purchase on the Site. A contract for service is formed only when you and we agree to install service at a property, and it is governed by the Service Agreement and Nevada law, not by these Terms.

Your rights for the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits any right you have under Nevada or federal law in connection with the internet service we provide.

8. Scheduling, hours and outages

Scheduling by telephone. Site visits and installations are scheduled by telephone at 775-575-9593 or 775-391-5660 after a person has looked at your address. The Site does not have an online booking tool, and sending a form, leaving your number in the call-back panel or chatting with the Chat Assistant does not reserve a time. A visit is scheduled only when we confirm it with you.

Hours. Our office is open 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, seven days a week. Our network is monitored around the clock and tower outages are worked at any hour; how we respond to a problem at one address, and when, depends on its nature and our availability at the time, and we will tell you what we can do when you call. The Site is not a way to report an outage: the outage page tells you what to check and how to reach us by telephone.

Changes and cancellations. If you need to change or cancel a scheduled visit, please call us as soon as you can. If we need to change a scheduled visit, we will contact you using the telephone number or email address you gave us.

Telephone calls may be recorded. Telephone numbers shown on the Site or in our ads may be tracking numbers that route to us, and calls may be recorded for quality and training after a notice at the start of the call, as Section 12 and our Privacy Policy explain.

9. Your property, the path and our equipment

Authority to request service. By asking us to check an address or install service at a property, you represent that you own the property or that you are authorized by the owner, a landlord, a property manager or another person with authority to have an antenna installed, and that you will be responsible for the service you authorize. Where a landlord's or an association's rules apply, the federal OTARD rule (47 CFR 1.4000) sets limits on them; our guide describes it, and we ask you to raise it with them first.

Access. You agree to give our technician safe access to the roof or mounting location, the route for the cable into the building and the place where the power injector and your router will sit, and to tell us about anything at the property that could affect the work or the technician's safety, such as dogs, locked gates or known hazards. The Service Agreement sets out the access and premises conditions in detail.

Our equipment. The antenna, radio, power supply and injector we install remain the property of High Desert Internet Services, as the Service Agreement provides. Never climb to, move, re-aim, open or disconnect the outdoor equipment; call us and a technician will attend.

Photos and information you send us. If you send us photographs of the roof, the trees around the property or a previous installation, you confirm that you have the right to share them. We use them to look at the path and prepare for a visit, and we may keep them with our records of the address as our Privacy Policy describes.

10. The Chat Assistant

Automated tool. The Chat Assistant, Relay, is YelloPost AI, an automated program built and operated for us by YelloPost. It is not a person, it is not a technician and it is not a lawyer.

May be wrong. Responses from the Chat Assistant are generated automatically. They may be incomplete, out of date or inaccurate, and they may be inconsistent with the Content, with the Service Agreement or with what we tell you.

Not binding. The Chat Assistant cannot make commitments. Nothing it says is a statement that service is available, a price beyond the published plan prices, a confirmation of our availability, a promise that we will install on a particular date or at a particular speed, or an appointment. Always confirm details with us by telephone.

Never an availability answer. The Chat Assistant is instructed never to say whether service is or is not available at a town, ZIP code or address. If it appears to, that statement is not ours and is not a commitment; only a person at High Desert can answer that, after looking.

Passing your details to us. If you give the Chat Assistant your contact details, it may pass them and a summary of your conversation to us so that a person can follow up with you, as our Privacy Policy describes.

Your conversations. Chat conversations are processed as described in our Privacy Policy, including by YelloPost and the technology providers it relies on to run YelloPost AI. Please do not enter driver's license numbers, financial account numbers, Social Security numbers, passwords or other sensitive information.

Proper use. You agree not to use the Chat Assistant for purposes unrelated to our Services or our business, to try to make it produce harmful, unlawful or misleading content, or to try to get around its safeguards.

11. Requests and contact

Accurate information. When you send a Request or an Address Check, you represent that the information you provide is accurate to the best of your knowledge, that you are the subscriber or authorized user of the telephone number and email address you provide, and that you are entitled to ask about service at the address you give us.

Contact you ask for. By sending a Request or an Address Check, you ask us to contact you about it by telephone or email using the contact details you provide. We will contact you only about your request and your service unless you agree otherwise. Agreeing to be contacted is not a condition of having an address checked. You may tell us at any time to stop contacting you.

Delivery of Requests. Form and chat Requests are delivered to us by email. We are not responsible for Requests that are not delivered because of spam screening, the bot check, technical problems, incorrect contact information or circumstances outside our control. If you have not heard back from us, please call us.

For urgent matters, call. The forms, the call-back panel and the Chat Assistant are not monitored around the clock, and sending a Request does not reserve a visit or report an outage. For anything urgent, call 775-575-9593.

12. Telephone calls and call recording

Tracking numbers. Some telephone numbers shown on the Site, in our online ads or in our business listings may be tracking numbers that route to us and let us see which ad or page led to a call. Whichever number you dial, you reach us.

Call recording and consent. Calls to our tracking numbers, and some calls to our main line, may be recorded for quality and training purposes. Nevada requires the consent of all parties to record a telephone call (NRS 200.620), so a recorded line plays a notice at the start of the call. By continuing the call after the notice, you consent to the recording. If you would rather not be recorded, tell us at the start of the call and we will honor that request.

Click-to-call links. Tapping a telephone number on the Site opens your device's phone app. Your device and your carrier handle the call under their own terms.

13. Submissions

Your ownership. You keep ownership of your Submissions, including any photographs or videos you send us.

License to us. You grant the High Desert Parties a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, copy, store, transmit and display your Submissions as needed to respond to your Request, look at the address you give us, provide and document the Services, keep business records, protect the Site and comply with law.

Your responsibility. You represent that you have the right to send each Submission and grant this license, and that your Submissions do not violate anyone's rights or any law.

14. Acceptable use

You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

  • Use the Site in any way that violates any applicable law or regulation.
  • Send false, misleading or fraudulent Requests, request work at a property you have no right to authorize work on, or impersonate any person or business or misrepresent your affiliation with anyone.
  • Use the forms, the call-back panel, the Chat Assistant, our telephone number or our email address to send spam, unsolicited sales pitches, advertising or solicitations.
  • Send Requests or chat messages by automated means, or send repeated or duplicate Requests intended to burden us.
  • Interfere with, bypass or attempt to defeat the Site's bot check, spam screening, rate limits or other security features.
  • Scrape, copy or harvest Content by automated means, except that search engines and other answer services may index publicly available pages in accordance with our robots.txt file.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, its servers or any information about other visitors, or introduce viruses or other harmful code.
  • Use the Site in a way that could damage, disable, overburden or impair it or interfere with anyone else's use of it.
  • Frame or mirror the Site, or use our name, logo or Content in a way that suggests we endorse or are affiliated with you.
  • Harass, threaten or abuse us through the Site, the Chat Assistant, telephone.
  • Encourage or help anyone else to do any of the above.

15. Our intellectual property

Ownership. The Site and its Content are owned by High Desert Internet Services or its licensors, including YelloPost and our other service providers, and are protected by United States and international copyright, trademark and other intellectual property laws.

Limited license to you. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to view and use the Site for your own personal or internal business purposes, such as learning about internet, hosting, email and domain services, deciding whether to contact us and sharing links to Site pages. You may print or save a reasonable number of pages for your own reference, provided you keep all copyright and other notices.

Restrictions. Except as allowed above or by law, you may not copy, republish, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display, sell or otherwise exploit any Content without our prior written permission.

Trademarks. "High Desert Internet Services," "High Desert Internet," our logo and other names and logos on the Site that identify us are our trademarks or trade names. "YelloPost" and "YelloPost AI" are names of our website and marketing provider and its chat assistant service. Names and marks of equipment and fixture manufacturers, review platforms and other businesses mentioned on the Site belong to their owners and are used only to identify them. Their appearance does not mean that they endorse us or are affiliated with us.

Reservation of rights. All rights not expressly granted in these Terms are reserved.

16. Copyright complaints (DMCA notice)

We respect the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe that material on the Site infringes a copyright you own or control, please send a written notice by email to info@hdiss.net with the subject line "Copyright Notice." If you prefer to send the notice by mail, email us and we will provide a mailing address. Consistent with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, 17 U.S.C. Section 512(c)(3), your notice should include:

  • A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
  • Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
  • Identification of the material you claim is infringing, with enough information for us to locate it, such as the page address.
  • Your name, mailing address, telephone number and email address.
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
  • A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on the owner's behalf.

Counter-notices. If you believe material you provided was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may send us a counter-notice that includes the information described in 17 U.S.C. Section 512(g)(3).

Misrepresentations. Under 17 U.S.C. Section 512(f), a person who knowingly and materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or that it was removed by mistake, may be liable for damages.

Repeat infringers. Where appropriate, we may remove material and restrict access to the Site for anyone who repeatedly infringes others' copyrights.

17. Third-party links and services

Links. The Site links to third-party websites, including Google Maps, review platforms and our social media pages. We provide links for convenience only. We do not control, endorse or assume responsibility for the content, accuracy, availability, privacy practices or terms of any third-party website, and your use of one is at your own risk and subject to its terms.

Other businesses. Makers of routers and other equipment you own, the operators of the Pay Online portal and of our email servers' software, and any other companies you work with, are independent of us. A manufacturer's warranty is the manufacturer's, and the terms of any work by another contractor are between you and that contractor.

Search engines and answer services. Other services may index, quote or summarize Content from the Site. We are not responsible for how they present or change it. Please confirm information about us on the Site or by calling us.

Third-party components. Parts of the Site rely on third-party services, such as Google Fonts, Cloudflare's network and Turnstile bot check and, only if you choose "Accept all," Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics and Google Ads conversion tags. We are not responsible for their availability or performance.

18. Reviews

The Site shows selected customer reviews from our Google Business Profile, as customers posted them publicly there, under a first name and initial. They reflect those customers' individual experiences and opinions and are not a promise of the speed, reliability, availability or price you will receive. We do not pay for reviews, and the rating shown is the live figure on our Google listing on the day the Site was last built, which the page states.

19. Availability and changes to the Site

We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the Site, the Content or the Chat Assistant at any time without notice and without liability to you. We do not promise that the Site will be available at any particular time. When it is not, you can call us at 775-575-9593.

20. Privacy and accessibility

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share and protect personal information, including information collected through the forms, the call-back panel, the Chat Assistant, call tracking and recording, Cloudflare and Google tools, and your rights under Nevada law. Our Accessibility Statement describes the accessibility of the Site and how to get help. If you have difficulty using any part of the Site, please call us at 775-575-9593 and we will help you directly.

21. Suspension of access

We may block, restrict or suspend your access to all or part of the Site, including the forms and the Chat Assistant, at any time and without notice if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, are sending spam or solicitations, are harassing us, or are creating risk or possible legal exposure for us or others.

22. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SITE, THE CONTENT, THE CHAT ASSISTANT AND ALL OTHER FEATURES AND INFORMATION MADE AVAILABLE THROUGH THE SITE ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED OR STATUTORY. TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY NEVADA LAW, THE HIGH DESERT PARTIES DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES WITH RESPECT TO THE SITE, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, ACCURACY AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

WITHOUT LIMITING THE FOREGOING, THE HIGH DESERT PARTIES DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE OR ANY CONTENT WILL BE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, CURRENT, UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE OR ERROR-FREE; THAT ANY GENERAL INTERNET SERVICE INFORMATION ON THE SITE APPLIES TO THE CONDITIONS AT YOUR PROPERTY; THAT ANY REQUEST WILL BE RECEIVED OR ANSWERED WITHIN A PARTICULAR TIME; THAT WE WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR A PARTICULAR JOB; OR THAT ANY RESPONSE FROM THE CHAT ASSISTANT WILL BE CORRECT OR SUITABLE FOR YOUR SITUATION.

THIS SECTION APPLIES TO THE SITE ONLY. IT DOES NOT CHANGE ANY WARRANTY OR RIGHT THAT APPLIES TO SERVICES WE PERFORM AT YOUR PROPERTY, WHICH ARE GOVERNED BY THE ESTIMATE, THE INVOICE AND NEVADA LAW. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OF CERTAIN WARRANTIES, SO SOME OF THE ABOVE EXCLUSIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

23. Limitation of liability

TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY NEVADA LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL THE HIGH DESERT PARTIES BE LIABLE TO YOU OR ANYONE ELSE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, USE OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS, THE SITE, THE CONTENT OR THE CHAT ASSISTANT, OR YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE ANY OF THEM, WHETHER BASED ON CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), STRICT LIABILITY OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY NEVADA LAW, THE TOTAL LIABILITY OF THE HIGH DESERT PARTIES FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE SITE WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100).

THESE LIMITATIONS APPLY TO YOUR USE OF THE SITE. THEY DO NOT APPLY TO SERVICES WE PERFORM AT YOUR PROPERTY, WHICH ARE GOVERNED BY THE ESTIMATE, THE INVOICE AND NEVADA LAW. NOTHING IN THESE TERMS LIMITS OR EXCLUDES LIABILITY FOR FRAUD, WILLFUL INJURY, VIOLATION OF LAW OR ANY OTHER LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE LIMITED OR EXCLUDED UNDER NEVADA LAW. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE LIMITATION OR EXCLUSION OF CERTAIN DAMAGES, SO SOME OF THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

24. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by Nevada law, you agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless the High Desert Parties from and against any claims, demands, losses, liabilities, damages, judgments, settlements, costs and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or relating to (a) your violation of these Terms; (b) your misuse of the Site; (c) any Submission you send us, including any claim that it infringes a third party's rights; (d) a Request for work at a property you were not entitled to authorize work on; or (e) your violation of any law or the rights of any third party. This Section does not require you to indemnify us for our own negligence or misconduct, and it does not apply to claims about Services we perform at your property.

25. Informal dispute resolution

We would like to resolve any concern quickly and fairly. Before filing a lawsuit about the Site or these Terms, you and we each agree to first try to resolve the dispute informally. The party raising the dispute should send the other a written notice describing the dispute and the relief requested. Notices to us should be emailed to info@hdiss.net with the subject line "Dispute Notice"; if you prefer to send a copy by mail, we will provide a mailing address on request. For 30 days after the notice is received, the parties will talk in good faith and try to resolve the dispute. After that, either party may proceed as described in Section 26.

This process does not prevent either party from seeking emergency or temporary relief from a court, and it does not shorten any statute of limitations. These Terms do not require you to give up your right to go to court, and they do not waive your right to participate in a class action. Nothing in these Terms limits your right to file a complaint about us with a government agency.

26. Governing law and venue

Governing law. These Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to them or to the Site are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada and applicable federal law, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles that would require the application of another jurisdiction's laws.

Venue. Subject to Section 25, any lawsuit arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site must be brought in the state courts located in Washoe County, Nevada, or in the United States District Court for the District of Nevada, and you and we each consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of those courts. This Section does not prevent either party from bringing an eligible claim in the small claims division of the justice court in Washoe County, Nevada.

27. Assignment

You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign or transfer these Terms, in whole or in part, including in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization or sale of all or part of our business or assets. These Terms bind and benefit the parties and their permitted successors and assigns.

28. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable for any reason, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permissible or limited to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

29. No waiver

Our failure or delay in enforcing any right or provision of these Terms is not a waiver of it. A waiver is effective only if it is in writing and signed by us.

30. Entire agreement and interpretation

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Accessibility Statement, are the entire agreement between you and us about the Site and supersede any prior understandings about the Site. The Service Agreement, the invoice and the other terms we give you for your service govern that work, as Section 7 explains. No statement by the Chat Assistant modifies these Terms or those terms. Headings are for convenience only. The words "including" and "for example" mean "including without limitation." No provision will be construed against a party because that party drafted it.

31. Notices

Notices to you. We may give you notices by email to the address you have given us, by mail if you have given us a mailing address, or by posting on the Site.

Notices to us. Legal notices to us may be sent in writing by email to info@hdiss.net. If you need to send a notice by mail, email us and a mailing address will be provided on request. Notices to us are effective when received. For questions about an Address Check or your service, please call 775-575-9593 rather than sending a notice; questions about the Service Agreement must be in writing to billing@hdiss.net.

32. Survival

Any provision of these Terms that by its nature should survive the end of your use of the Site will survive, including Sections 6 through 10, 13, 15 through 18, and 22 through 31.

33. Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised Terms on this page and update the effective date at the top. If a change is material, we will provide a notice on the Site for a reasonable period. Revised Terms apply to your use of the Site after they are posted and do not apply to a dispute of which we had actual notice before the change was posted. Your continued use of the Site after revised Terms are posted means that you accept them.
